Applications of 1.2311 steel
1.2311 Tool steel is German Die steel, the steel by “super clean” production process.

Forging of Plastic mould steel Din 1.2311
Slowly Heat to 930-1050 °C, and keep the temperature heated thoroughly.
Start forging. Finished cool slowly.
Annealing of Din 1.2311 tool steel material.
Heat to 775 to 790 °C, soak enough time and ensure heat thoroughly.
Then cool in the heat treatment furnace.
Quenching of 1.2311 material
820-840°C, quench in oil.
Tempering of 2311 steel grade material
Heat uniformly at the tempering temperature for 1.2311 tool steel material.
Keep enough time, then cool in the air.
Advice temperature 100 to 600 °C. more 1.2311 tool steel heat treatment data.
