X45MoCrV5-3-1, DIN 1.2999 – specification and application
DIN 1.2999 TOOL STEEL, X45MoCrV5-3-1 with the highest resistance to loads, impacts and shocks, high resistance to temperature fluctuations and tempering.
It is also characterized by high thermal conductivity, resistance to critical temperatures and fatigue.
Material DIN 1.2999 is the right choice for the production of heavy-duty dies, forging tools, casting moulds for demanding metals and other applications where the highest purity of the material is required.
